Chef Sarasola's Cheesy Mechadong Bola Bola recipe is a must try!

Celebrity chef Jose Sarasola is back with another simple yet mouthwatering recipe. This one is not only enticing for the kids but also for the kids at heart.

To respond to a viewer's request for an unconventional meatball recipe for her kids, Chef Jose recommended his Cheesy Mechadong Bola-Bola.

Cheesy Mechadong Bola Bola

Ingredients:

Ground pork
Minced garlic
Minced onion
Salt
Black pepper
Flour
Egg
Bread crumbs
Carrots
Potato
Tomato sauce
Green peas
Soy sauce
Laurel leaf
Cheese

Procedure:

For the bola-bola:

1. Prepare the meatballs by mixing ground pork, minced garlic, onion, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
2. Scoop a spoonful of the pork mixture and form it into a ball.
3. Make sure to get the right size, not too big, not too small.
4. Lightly roll the meatballs on the flour, then in the whisked egg, then on the bread crumbs for added crunch.
5. Fry the bola-bola.

For the sauce:

1. Sauté the garlic, onion, carrots, and potatoes.
2. Let the vegetables cook before adding other ingredients.
3. Pour in the tomato sauce.
4. Let it simmer.
5. Then gently put in the bola-bola into the sauce.
6. Add the green peas.
7. Put a little amount of soy sauce.
8. When it simmers, put a little amount of salt and pepper for seasoning.
9. Lastly, add cheese.
