A simple and crispy recipe, ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner!


 

 

Ingredients:

5 pieces CDO Crispy Ulam Burger
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
2 tbsp orange juice concentrate
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tsp orange zest
3 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
8 broccoli florets (lightly steamed or blanched)
2 cups oil for frying

Procedure:

1. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, rice vinegar, orange juice concentrate, salt and soy sauce. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the Crispy Ulam Burgers in hot oil until crispy and golden brown; set aside.
3. Drain the oil from the pan and leave about 1 tablespoon.
4. Add orange zest, ginger and garlic to the remaining oil, and saute briefly until fragrant.
5. Add the soy sauce mixture to the wok, bring to a boil, and cook until thick and syrupy.
6. Add CDO Crispy Ulam Burger and heat through, stirring to coat. Serve with the blanche broccoli florettes and steamed rice.
