An easy steak recipe you can make at home.


INGREDIENTS

 
For the steak:
600 grams fillet mignon steak, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
Salt and pepper
 
For the adobo sauce:
1/4  cup soy sauce
2 tbsps vinegar
Freshly ground black pepper
Vegetable oil
5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsps slurry
Water
 
For serving: 
6-9 pcs marble potatoes, boiled until soft
1 bunch of parsley
2 tbsps butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper
 
PROCEDURE:
 
Cook the steak in high heat until seared on all sides.
Cook until desired doneness. Set aside.
 
For the adobo sauce:
 
On the same pan, deglaze it with the soy sauce.
Stirring all the bits on the bottom of the pan.
Add the chopped garlic and vinegar.
Simmer until the vinegar is cooked.
Season with freshly ground pepper.
Simmer until thick.
Adjust seasoning if necessary. 
Serve the adobo sauce with the steak.

For the potatoes:
In a clean pan, melt the butter with the olive oil.
Sauté the boiled potaoes, season with salt and pepper, and add the chopped parsley. Served with the steak.
