The smoky salty-sweet flavor of juicy tocino and a matching salad.

INGREDIENTS:

450 grams CDO Young Pork Tocino
1 pc green bell pepper, sliced into strips
1 pc carrots, sliced into strips
1 pc cucumber, sliced into strips
1 pc green mangoes, sliced into strips
1 pc red onions, sliced into strips
1 ½ cup vinegar
¼ cup white sugar
2 pcs siling labuyo
½ tbsp peppercorns
2 tsp salt
 

PROCEDURE:
Prepare the vinegar mixture by simmering, vinegar, white sugar, peppercorns, salt and siling labuyo in a pan. Then strain.

In a bowl, add in green bell pepper, carrots, cucumber, mangoes and onions. Add in vinegar mixture then let it marinade for at least 10 minutes inside the chiller.

Heat grill pan, then pan grill CDO Young Pork Tocino. Place in a bowl then toss in pickled vegetables.

 Serve immediately.
