sinigang in strawberry

Have you tried sinigang with strawberries? Cop this unique sinigang recipe, HERE:

Sinigang is one of the most popular Filipino dishes that's best known for its sour and savory taste. It recently made headlines after being hailed as the world's best vegetable soup by the Taste Atlas.

It's a very versatile dish since the sinigang can be cooked with pork, beef, shrimp, fish, and chicken.

Some of the classic souring agents used in the Pinoy favorite sinigang include tamarind (sampalok), guava, kamias, lime, tomato, pineapple, santol, and batwan.

But while these are the known variations and ingredients used by Pinoys in their sinigang, did you know that you can also use strawberries as its souring agent?

This is the great revelation that 'Pinoy MD' host Connie Sison shared during one of their recent episodes.

And not only will the strawberries add more sourness and a little sweetness to our favorite soup but it will also make it healthier because strawberries are rich in fiber, Vitamin C, and antioxidants. How nice, right?

So, if you want to try this sinigang recipe with a slightly sweet and healthy twist, check out the ingredients and procedure below.
