In less than 24 hours, "Cosmic" garnered over 3 million views and 371,000 likes, quickly trending in YouTube's top 10 for music.

"Cosmic" is the title track of their ninth mini album with the same title, following their last comeback in November 2023 with their third full-length album, Chill Kill.

This year also marks Red Velvet's 10th anniversary since their debut on August 1, 2014, with their bubbly first single "Happiness."
