The iconic duo surprised fans by joining the star-studded lineup of invited artists for the biggest K-pop event of the year, the "IAM K-POP" concert.
IAM LIVE excitedly announce that Irene and Seulgi will grace the stage with their incredible vocal talents and captivating dance moves.
The concert will take place on March 29 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, where the iconic K-pop duo will perform alongside boy group RIIZE and Filipino group HORI7ON. Stay tuned for ticket details and more artist announcements, which will be shared soon via IAM LIVE's social media channels.
Irene and Seulgi debuted as a sub-unit in 2020 with their hit track "Monster." Since then, they've each pursued successful solo careers, with Seulgi releasing 28 Reasons in 2022 and Irene dropping Like a Flower in November 2024.
Both are part of SM Entertainment's well-known K-pop group Red Velvet alongside fellow members Joy, Wendy, and Yeri. Together, Red Velvet has delivered numerous chart-topping hits, including "Happiness," "Dumb Dumb," "Russian Roulette," "Psycho," and "Cosmic." All of their live performances have been praised globally for showcasing powerful vocal skills and captivating visuals on stage.
The full group visited Manila last September for their fan concert, "My Dear, ReVe1uv Fancon Tour," at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Additionally, Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy welcomed 2023 with their Filipino fans at the New Year countdown event "NYE at the 5th" in BGC.
