Red Velvet's Joy just released an OST for the popular webtoon drama “Romance 101,” which tells the story of Barum, who has been living her life according to plan and her experiences about love inside the campus.

On April 15, Toon Studio uploaded on its official Youtube account the official audio of the song “Why Isn't Love Always Easy” which features Joy's angelic and unique voice.

The song is a sweet ballad pop about secretly crushing on someone and wanting to know how they feel about you.

Upon the release, it dominated three of the top trending topics in Twitter Philippines.

The talented idol isn't new in lending her voice and releasing an original soundtrack.

In 2020, Joy took part in singing one of the soundtracks of tVN's drama Hospital Playlist with “Introduce Me A Good Person.” The song gained praise and warm response due to her dulcet voice quality. In the same year, she was nominated for Best OST in Mnet Asian Music Awards and Seoul Music Awards.

Joy debuted in 2014 with K-Pop girl group Red Velvet under SM Entertainment.
