Red Velvet member Wendy has confirmed release of solo music this April.
Wendy Shon of Red Velvet is debuting her first solo album in April, her music agency SM Entertainment confirmed. Her first solo album "Like Water" will drop on April 5, with pre-orders starting March 24.
The upcoming album contains five tracks that capture what SM Entertainment describes as "a genuine message and warm sentiment."

Wendy has also teased her album's tagline in a recent Instagram post, "New chapter of our lives has begun."
Wendy is currently the main vocalist of Red Velvet and has also taken part in several original soundtrack projects for Korean dramas, like The Beauty Inside and Start-Up.
The singer went on hiatus following a stage accident in December 2020.
She returned to the limelight in August 2020.
