Regine Angeles, who has been in showbiz for over 12 years and identified with seryes and shows in other networks, will now be seen in the GMA afternoon soap, 'Dragon Lady.'

Regine Angeles, who has been in showbiz for over 12 years and identified with seryes and shows in other networks, will now be seen in the GMA afternoon soap, Dragon Lady. She will play the role of a private investigator.

It has been over nine years since she has starred in a series under GMA Network and Regine making a comeback to the network brings sheer delight to the actress. “The shoot was super fun and just being a part of the show excites me with what it has to offer to the audience,” says Regine. “I have been with ABS-CBN for almost a decade, kaya kabadong excited ang feeling ko. Ang saya-saya lang sa set especially when I saw Jason Francisco, DJ Durano and Tom Rodriguez who I worked with before sa kabila!”

Regine shares with us the fact that coming back to the Kapuso network could be a step closer to working with her idol Heart Evangelista. “She's an absolute icon and if I get the chance to work with her, I'll do what it takes to reach that goal. Nakatrabaho ko din naman sila Jennylyn Mercado at si Dennis Trillo before,” says Regine, “pero sa movie ng Ang Sugo ko nakasama si Dennis. Medyo serious 'yung setting ng movie pero at least para ma-iba naman. Super excited ako na I get to be a part of the Dragon Lady. I am also hoping to have a regular show sa Kapuso network”, Regine said with a smile.

She also explains her interest in the role she will be playing in Afternoon Prime soap “...since private investigator ako sa Dragon Lady, super excited ako to explore the role kasi may pagka-mysterious. Exciting!”
