
Dancer and TV host Regine Tolentino was beaming with pride as her youngest daughter Rosie Rignee turned two, yesterday March 17.
Two years ago, Regine had the difficult experience of giving birth to her daughter with director-photographer Dondi Narciso at the height of the pandemic.
This year, the Unang Hirit host proudly shared to her followers and fans that she was able to breastfeed Baby Rosie.
The celebrity mom wrote on Instagram, “As my baby @rosierignee turned 2 yesterday, I reached another milestone as a mother; breastfeeding my 3rd child.
“It is quite a sacrifice mentally and physically to make this commitment, but I realized the greatest reward is the bond between mother and child.”
She then continued, “They say breast milk is best for babies up to 2 years old, so I am happy I made it past this mark. It is also the best for me because there is nothing better than time spent nourishing my child.
“Cheers to all breastfeeding mothers and motherhood! It isn't easy, but it is truly fulfilling.”
In an article by webmd.com, it stated that, "Breast milk has a nearly perfect mix of vitamins, protein, and fat -- everything your baby needs to grow.
Likewise, breastfeeding has been linked to higher IQ scores in later childhood in some studies.
Aside from Baby Rosie, Regine also has two children Reigne and Reigen with ex-husband Lander Vera Perez.
