Regine Tolentino's youngest daughter, Rosie Rignee, is a fighter. Just like her mama!
Around March 17, 2020, dancer and actress Regine Tolentino gave birth to her youngest daughter, Baby Rosie Rignee, at 9:26 p.m.
What was supposed to be a happy moment for Regine and partner Dondi Narciso turned to be a worrisome one as their newborn had to be admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for she had a fever of 39.9 degrees.
All of these details were revealed by Regine in her latest Instagram post, in celebration of Baby Rosie's first birthday.
“Exactly 365 days ago, at 9:26 p.m., I gave birth to a baby girl we named Rosie. She was born with a fever of 39.9 and rising, and had to be confined in the NICU for 10 days,” she began.
“ It was the most difficult time for @dondinarciso and me amidst the start of the pandemic, recovering from a CS delivery, and not knowing the status of our baby.”
Regine added that Baby Rosie had to be intubated to help with her breathing at only a few hours old.
Upon seeing her baby's condition, the actress couldn't help by cry with “so many tears” during those days.
Fortunately, Baby Rosie was a fighter. And with the help of the amazing doctors and nurses that tended to her needs, Regine and Dondi's newborn survived.
The actress continued, “Her strength and fighting spirit still amaze me until today. She is a warrior and a survivor -- our beautiful and resilient @rosierignee.
“I thank God every day to be so abundantly blessed with my children and loving life partner. Happy birthday, my miracle @rosierignee. I love you so incredibly much.”
Alongside the heartwarming caption are a series of images taken during Baby Rosie's birth and admittance to the NICU.

In another post, Regine continues to be thankful for all the amazing blessings her daughter has given her for the past year.
She even posted an adorable video of her baby enjoying her photoshoot as she turned 1 year old, together with her parents and two elder sisters.
Regine wrote in the caption, “As my little @rosierignee turns 1 today, I am overwhelmed with bliss and gratitude for this beautiful miracle. She is our silver lining, our light, and joy!
