Filipina beauty queen Michelle Arceo ended her run in the Reina Hispanoamericana beauty pageant as second runner-up after Miss Peru Maricielo Gamarra took home this year's crown.
Along with Maricielo Gammara and Michelle Arceo in the pageant's winning circle were Miss Venezuela Fernanda Rojas as the Virreina Hispanoamericana, Miss Brazil Cynthia Moura as first runner-up, Miss Curaçao Bianty Gomperts as third runner-up, and Miss Colombia Paula Andrea Alarcón as fourth runner-up.
The Reina Hispanoamericana pageant started in 1991 and celebrates Hispanic heritage, language, and culture. It first started out just featuring 10 countries in South America before further expanding to include countries like the Philippines back in 2017.
It was also in 2017 that the Philippines won its first Reina Hispanoamericana after Teresita “Winwyn” Marquez took home the crown.
