Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz give tips on how to move on from betrayal.

Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz are headlining GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures movie titled The Cheating Game. This marks the couple's first big screen appearance together.

The film involves Hope (Julie Anne San Jose) trying to get over the pain of getting cheated on by her partner. Miguel (Rayver Cruz) comes into her life to help her get over the trauma and get back on track in life.

During the online press conference for the movie, Julie and Rayver shared how they would handle being cheated on.

"Parang lahat naman tayo nakaka-experience ng ganitong mga sitwasyon. I mean, not just in relationships but in general, in life, siguro. Iba-iba talaga tayo ng coping mechanisms eh," Julie Anne said.

The actress also clarified cheating is a non-negotionable for her in relationships.

"For me, it's definitely a non-nego, paano ako maka-move on. Ako, kasi sobrang bigat kasi ng reason 'yung cheating for me. Kaya, ano sya, mabilis ako maka-move on," she explained.

Moving on from cheating can be hard for many, and Julie advised to surround yourself with loved ones who can support your healing.

"Kasi, importante na may support system ka palagi," she said. "Always be with your friends, your loved ones, your family. Sila 'yung talagang dadamay sayo sa struggles na hinaharap mo."

For Rayver, cheating can be a turning point for one's life. 'Yun kasi yung mga paraan para binibigyan ka ng lesson in life. Dun ka matututo eh, sa experience eh," he said.

"I mean, para sa mga future relationships or sa mga future na talagang may pagsubok na ganyan, medyo aware ka na and alam mo na how to handle. Siyempre, lahat naman tayo nabubulag tayo 'pag nagmahal tayo dahil nga grabe tayo magmahal, e," Rayver advised.

He noted, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

Directed and written by Rod Marmol, with original story by Shao Masula, The Cheating Game also stars Martin del Rosario, Paolo Contis, Winwyn Marquez, Thea Tolentino, Yayo Aguila, Candy Pangilinan, Jose Sarasola, Phi Palmos, and many more.

The Cheating Game will be shown in theaters from July 26.
