Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari are calling it quits after 14 months of marriage.
Britney Spears' husband Sam Asghari has confirmed his and his wife's decision to end their marriage, 14 months after their wedding day.
The 29-year-old actor and personal trainer filed for divorce from Britney on Thursday, citing "irreconcilable differences" in the petition to end the marriage.

On his Instagram, Sam posted a message on his stories, explaining how he and Britney have ended their "journey together."
“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and i have decided to end our journey together,” Sam wrote on his Instagram Story on Friday. “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. S**t happens.”
He added, “Asking for privacy seems rediculous [sic] so i will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”
Britney and Sam first met in 2016 when the actor co-starred with Britney in the music video for her single "Slumber Party." They got engaged in September 2021 and got married in June 2022.
