Kris Aquino appears in high spirits as she gives an interview with showbiz columnist and talent manager Ogie Diaz.

In a recent video posted by Ogie on his YouTube channel, Kris talked about finding a new man in her life, a doctor based in Makati, Philippines.

"Hindi naman love life but it just flowed, nangyari and he's a doctor. I think that's part of the reason why it was easy. Kasi alam niya kung ano'ng pinagdadaanan ko," she explained.

Describing her new love interest as dependable, Kris shared how his encouragement has boosted her confidence in a potential trip back to the Philippines.

"He's part of the reason why I'm confident na pwede akong umuwi. Kasi alam ko na there's someone who will help in taking care of me," she shared.

Kris clarified that this doctor was not the cause of her breakup with Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. She emphasized that there was a significant gap between relationships and explained that he wasn't the reason for their separation.

"Merong malaking gap naman. Hindi naman sila nagsabay at hindi siya ang dahilan kung bakit. Walang overlap at hindi siya 'yung dahilan kung bakit kami hindi naging okay," she assured.

Last year, Kris announced their separation on Instagram, citing the challenges of a long-distance relationship and Mark's demanding role in public service as contributing factors.

Kris will remain in the US to continue her treatments for her autoimmune diseases having started methotrexate, a medication used for cancer, psoriasis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
