Sorry to ruin a rather beautiful Sunday but the news has finally been confirmed: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially broken up after less than a year of marriage.
The Hollywood singer's representative has confirmed the news through People Magazine.
It said:
"Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated partners to all of the animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."
The news came after some fans speculated about the split when they noticed Cyrus isn't wearing her wedding ring on.
At this time, neither Miley nor Liam has said anything about the breakup on social media.
They split up back in 2013 and got back together two years later.
The two tied the knot back in December and had an intimate wedding together with family and friends.
