Did you know that Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati's prenup photos were all taken underwater and shot using a mobile phone!
The evening of March 4th took Instagram by storm as photographer Pat Dy released the prenup photos of Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati.
The photos released showed the two actors underwater and free-diving as they coasted from shore to shore on the beautiful island of Palawan.
And mind you, they were all shot using a mobile phone!
According to the photographer, it took him a while to do another underwater shot but that all changed when the couple took it up a notch and free dived for the concept photo.
He wrote, “I've had a lot of requests for underwater shots over the years. The only successful one I posted, as you all saw, was the one last year.
“I didn't think I could shoot another amazing set until I got to shoot Richard [Gutierrez] and Sarah's [Lahbati] engagement photos.
“As the fashion saying goes… Don't do any shoot just for the sake of concept especially if your subjects look awkward. Even from the slightest expression can make or break a campaign.
“But when Richard and Sarah free dived, got bitten by small jellyfishes, swallowed water, and catered to every request Bob Nicolas and I asked, I knew right away the shoot was going to be epic.”
Engagement
Richard Gutierrez proposed to Sarah Lahbati last March 2017 in the famous mountain resort of Zermatt in Switzerland. Richard proposed with a 2-carat diamond ring that is said to range somewhere between PhP 255,000 and PhP 2.4 million.
She wrote on Instagram, “The stars aligned in the universe and this happened. I'm marrying my best friend.”
In the past few days, a copy of Richard and Sarah's wedding invitation was leaked on the internet allowing netizens to see the list of the star-studded event.
Celebrities include designer Boom Sason, actresses Janine Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, Yassi Pressman, Coleen Garcia, and Mikaela Martinez forms the roster of bridesmaids. While the groomsmen include Tonton Gutierrez, Monching Gutierrez, and businessman Sean Farinas.
For their principal sponsors, the couple are taking it up a notch as the list includes incumbent President Rodrigo Duterte, former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Senators Tito Sotto and his wife Helen Gamboa, Manny Pacquiao and wife Jinkee Pacquiao, Congressman Bong Suntay and his wife Sheila, Mayors Chavit Singson and Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres-Gomez, and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Furthermore, they also invited big-time guests as principal sponsors like GMA's very own Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon and his wife Teresa M. Gozon, Megaworld's Kevin Tan, doctors Z' Shen Teo and Aivee Aguilar-Teo, and businessman Ben Chan of clothing brand BENCH/.
Their wedding date is set to happen this coming March 14, 2020, at the Bonifacio Hall at Shangri-La the Fort in Taguig City.
Richard and Sarah have two sons named Zion and Kai.
