The wedding bells have finally rung for Oh My Venus actor So Ji Sub and his girlfriend, former announcer Cho Eun Jung.

The news was confirmed by So Ji Sub's agency 51K.

According to the statement, the Korean actor filed for their marriage today, April 7, but decided against holding a wedding ceremony because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The statement read, as translated by entertainment site Soompi:

“We have some good news for everyone today about our actor, So Ji Sub.

“So Ji Sub has developed a precious relationship [with Cho Eun Jung] and has made his wedding vow.

"The two, who acknowledged their relationship last year, promised to be partners for the rest of their lives based on their mutual trust and love for each other.

"They registered their marriage today, April 7.”

The marriage was said to be witnessed by their family members.

Aside from their marriage, the couple donated 50 million Korean Won to Good Neighbors to help children who are having trouble with education.

Back in May 2019, Korean news agency Dispatch reported the two were in a relationship that was later confirmed by So Ji Sub's agency.

So Ji Sub, 42, made his entertainment debut as a jeans model and later became known for his leading roles in television such as Master's Sun and Oh My Venus, which previously aired on GMA's Heart of Asia.

In May 2019, So Ji Sub had his first fan meet in Manila at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
