It was a touching ceremony, period.

Newlyweds Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez have shared to the public the same-day edit (SDE) video capturing the highlights of their October 23 wedding held at the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas.

The nine-minute video made by Bob Nicolas will make anyone cry buckets of tears while watching the love and sincerity between Tom and Carla.

Tom couldn't contain his emotions talking about his late father, William Albert "Bill" Mott Sr., who died in 2017.

He shared, “I can't imagine my life without you from here on, because you've enriched my life in more ways than I can readily express. Like when Dad passed, I have to admit I lost my faith, I lost my way.”

Seeing the old cowboy hat of his father, Tom broke down.

“But your boundless capacity to love was the road that led me back into His arms. I know Dad is with Him now, but he would have loved to have been here. There he is [cries].”

The Kapuso primetime actor also described his wife as an angel here on Earth.

“So here we are in front of our loved ones. And truth be told, I need all of them here because I need to know none of this is a dream.

“That this angel standing before me is really mine and somehow she loves me deeply and completely. Heaven must have never been the same the day you came down and graced my life.”

Meanwhile, Carla Abellana said in her vows that eight years ago, she prayed to meet the man who will love her unconditionally.

She said, “Over eight years ago, I prayed for you, but the thing is back then I didn't even know it was you I was praying for. I even completed Simbang Gabi, praying that I would finally meet the man who will love me unconditionally and take very, very good care of me.”

Carla continued, “While I completed that Simbang Gabi I seriously never thought that the man I prayed for was already so close to me. That we had already crossed paths months prior.”
