Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo let their fans get an inside look at the momentous and emotional proposal, thanks to a video posted on Jennylyn's YouTube channel entitled “After All: Jennylyn & Dennis | Episode 1.”

In the 10-minute video filmed last October 8, viewers were immediately made aware that this was going to be a proposal video. In less than a minute, Dennis tells the viewers that this was going to be one of the most important moments in their lives together.

Before popping the question, Dennis emotionally thanked Jennylyn for accompanying him on this journey, while at the same time apologizing that the proposal didn't happen sooner.

“Siniguro ko muna na, talagang kapagka nangyari 'yun, ito na 'yung best version ko,” he explained, eliciting tears from Jennylyn. “Akala ko dati, ok na ako, pero ang dami ko pa palang improvements, sobra.”

Dennis then thanked Jennylyn for coming back to him, referencing their first break-up back in 2011, before saying that he's unsure if he'll ever find a love like the one she's given him.

He then confirms that Jennylyn is indeed pregnant, telling her that he only wants to be with her and the new “addition” to their family. Dennis then pops the question, with the door behind Jennylyn opening to show a beautiful arrangement with balloons that say “Marry me?”

The video reveal comes after the couple confirmed Jennylyn's pregnancy on 24 Oras.

After the proposal, the video then switches to the hour before the proposal, with Dennis revealing that Jennylyn was actually feverish before the proposal happened.

The proposal itself required some planning, with Dennis and event stylist Gideon Hermosa planning the event since October 6. Capturing the proposal required at least three camera set-ups.

The video ends with the couple feasting on a lechon along with a promise of more episodes to come.
