Rere Madrid touched the hearts of netizens after sharing a deeply personal and emotional tribute to her partner, Kai Sotto, reflecting on her lifelong dream of finding true love and how it has finally come true following their recent love-filled wedding.

In an Instagram post from Rere, she shared some of the photos from their wedding, accompanied by a message for him, whom she said fulfilled one of her biggest dreams.

The Sparkle actress also looked back on the memory of her 18th birthday, when she wished to have a bride-themed debut party because, according to her, she believed back then that finding true love was not easy.

“Even before, pangarap ko na talagang ikasal. I still remember nung 18th birthday ko, tinanong ako kung anong theme yung gusto ko for my debut, and I said gusto ko parang bride yung vibe. Kasi even back then, alam ko na hindi madaling makahanap ng totoong pagmamahal,” Rere wrote in the caption.

Now 25, Rere could not hide her emotions as she expressed her profound gratitude to Kai for turning her childhood dream into a reality.

Reflecting on how far they have come, she opened up about how his love completely changed her perspective on forever.

“That's why I never expected na at 25, ikaw [Kai Sotto] @kzsotto pala yung tutupad sa isa sa biggest dreams ko,” she said.

She continued, “Thank you mahal, because you made something real that I once thought was impossible for me. Thank you kasi araw-araw mong pinaparamdam sakin kung gaano mo ako kamahal.”

She also went on to thank her husband for being her anchor, especially through the unpredictable and challenging phases of their relationship.

Rere also credited Kai's constant reassurance and unwavering acceptance for keeping their bond unshakable.

“Thank you for never letting our relationship fall apart, even during the days when everything starts to feel unclear. Thank you for always reassuring me, for building my trust, and for accepting me wholeheartedly,” Rere expressed.

Looking ahead to their future together, the Sparkle actress went on to make a solemn, lifelong promise to stand by Kai through all of life's highs and lows.

“Ang dami pa nating pagdadaanan together — beautiful moments, hard days, and everything in between,” she wrote.

“But one thing I promise you is this: habang buhay kong hahawakan yung kamay mo. No matter where life takes us, gusto ko tayo pa rin yung magkasamang haharap sa lahat,” she added.

Closing her message, Rere playfully teased that she had more to say in the future, while offering a beautiful final reminder that her love for Kai would only continue to grow stronger for the rest of their lives.

“Ito muna siguro for now hehe, yung iba next time na lang. But I loved you even before, and I know I'll continue to love you more and more habang buhay,” she said.

Rere, who is the sister of Kapuso Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid, has always been open about her personal life and milestones with her followers.

Having just marked her 25th birthday this past March, Rere is already celebrating another major life milestone as a newlywed.

Rere Madrid and Kai Sotto have been dating since 2024.
