Sparkle artist Rere Madrid dedicated a day for cultural immersion and community exchange with about 200 Igorot children from O-ong Elementary School, Hingyon, Ifugao.

Rere Madrid spent her weekend in a fun and meaningful way as she traveled to the highlands to bond with indigenous people there.

The Sparkle artist dedicated a day for cultural immersion and community exchange with about 200 Igorot children from O-ong Elementary School, Hingyon, Ifugao with her friends from Pink Women on Fire, an NGO that celebrates the lives of our underprivileged children.

Rere and her team did gift-giving and played with the kids, as seen on her Instagram post on Wednesday, April 24.

During her memorable trip to Ifugao, Rere experienced the place like a local as she wore the traditional clothing of Igorot. She also danced with a number of Igorots, performing their ethnic dance.

"For the first time, I can finally share with you one of the things I love doing! I spent the weekend with my group, @pinkwomenonfire and we did gift-givings, a lot of play and the most anticipated, cultural immersion!

"Full experience abangan nyo sa aking vlog, Rere's Vlogventure on YT!," Rere said.

Rere is the younger sister of Black Rider lead actor Ruru Madrid.

She entered show business when she joined the seventh season of StarStruck in 2019.

Aside from acting, Rere is also making a name in the modeling industry as she signed up as an endorser for a local apparel brand.
