As the awaited ending for Rewriting Destiny draws near, things are finally starting to settle down. Yet, our favorite couple Xia Yu Bing and Xu Zi Yan still have a lot to solve as their world faces a loop of repetitions, putting everyone on edge for their survival.

The latest crisis began when Xue Mu's schemes were exposed to the authorities. The governor discovered his mistreatment of citizens, particularly his confinement of patients with only Yu Bing and Zi Yan to care for them. After demanding the release of the citizens, including Ye Wen Zhao from jail, the governor honored Yu Bing and Zi Yan for their bravery.

Jealous of Yu Bing's happiness with Zi Yan, Xue Mu plotted to sabotage their relationship. He framed Zi Yan for murder, using Xia Lan in his scheme. However, Yu Bing had already learned about Xue Mu's past plans when she reunited with their missing brother.

In a fit of rage, Xia Lan set fire to Yu Bing's store, leading Yu Bing to reveal the truth about her brother. Despite the initial disbelief, everyone worked together to uncover Xue Mu's true nature and present the evidence to the authorities. However, as they tried to catch him, Xue Mu managed to escape arrest.

Everyone was not at ease with Xue Mu's disappearance, knowing he could attack anytime soon. Their speculation came to reality as the villain suddenly kidnapped Yu Bing from the streets.

Clinging to his last hope, Xue Mu forced Yu Bing to be in an intimate wedding ceremony with him. He kept on repeating his delusional thoughts that he knew Yu Bing loved him romantically deep down in her heart.

Scared of her cousin, Yu Bing tried to escape from Xue Mu but only got caught in the end. Luckily, her father saw them from the search party and tried to help Yu Bing escape. They successfully bought more time until the gang showed up, but Yu Bing's father didn't make it as he sacrificed his life for his daughter. In grief, Yu Bing felt the guilt of not caring for her father much and only realized their unbreakable bond when he died in her arms.

While Yu Bing took a moment to recover from the incident, Xue Mu managed to evade capture by the authorities. During his escape, he was suddenly engulfed by images flashing in his mind. He interpreted these flashes as memories from his past, experiencing each emotion as if it were reality. Fate intervened strangely as Xue Mu unintentionally found himself at the NPC's office, where he made a startling discovery: their world was merely a creation within the pages of a comic book.

Feeling rage and confusion, Xue Mu decided to express his wrath to the world by burning the town's food storage. As simple as that, everything turned into a complete mess as he caused a loop within the book. Outside of their world, fans of the comics dropped hateful comments to the author, which made the creator frustrated and stopped writing the story.

Will Xia Yu Bing and Xu Zi Yan solve this huge problem? When will Xue Mu pay the price for his evil schemes?
