Former GMA News reporter Rhea Santos enrolled in a Broadcast and Online Journalism program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).

Rhea Santos revealed that she has finished her 2-year course in Canada.

The former Kapuso news reporter left the Philippines in 2019 and is currently living in Canada.

Rhea enrolled in a Broadcast and Online Journalism program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). On May 30, (Philippine time) she shared that she finally finished her studies.

"Can't believe I'm done️" she revealed.

In Rhea's Instagram post, she shared that she can't finish her degree without the help of her husband, Carlo de Guzman.

"Wouldn't have done it without my loving husband who makes sure I'm well fed and I'm getting the space I need to focus on my studies for the past two years."

She added, "Nothing but #gratitude for the opportunity to learn and try new things Love you dad! #BCITGrad2021"

Aside from studying, Rhea is also an anchor in Omni News: Filipino Edition in Canada.

In an Instagram post last September 2020, Rhea revealed the struggles she faced as a working student.

"When we are tested, we rise to the #challenge.

"Still tired and preoccupied but #grateful that I'm learning new things. It is with learning something new that we become empowered to do more and be better.
