Sang'gre star Rhian Ramos was among the celebrities who went to join the rallies held yesterday, September 21 at the EDSA People Power Monument to protest the massive corruption in the government.
The home-grown Kapuso actress even posted on her Instagram page some of the highlights of the multi-sectoral rallies that took place in different places throughout the country as Filipinos demand accountability after several investigations revealed anomalous and ghost projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), which involve several lawmakers and contractors.
Rhian, who plays the villain Kera Mitena on Sangˈgre, even delighted Encantadiks with a short video wherein she channeled her role in the GMA Prime series and ordered to punish corrupt government officials, when she demanded: “Turuan sila ng leksyon.”
Netizens even reacted to her viral clip by giving it a big thumbs up. One even said, “Mahal na Kera Mitena gawin mo ng ice candy yung mga kurakot!”
While another one commented, “We stan the right Queen.”
Several Kapuso celebrities also joined the Sunday protests such as Gabbi Garcia, David Licauco, Dustin Yu, Mika Salamanca, Raheel Bhyria, and many more.
