“Golden,” the award-winning track of KPop Demon Hunters, was finally brought to life on Wednesday, October 8 (PHT) at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the artists who provided the singing voice to Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, graced the stage of the popular talk show and captivated the audience with the first full performance of “Golden.”
Since KPop Demon Hunters skyrocketed to fame, “Golden” received an equal amount of love and support from viewers and landed on music charts effortlessly.
According to Jimmy Fallon, during the interview with EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, “Golden” spent 15 weeks on the Billboard 200 and was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks.
It is also the longest-running number one of the year on the Global 200 Singles chart, the first number one female K-pop song in the history of Hot 100, and the longest-running number one girl group of the century on Hot 100, beating Destiny's Child.
“Golden” was co-written by EJAE, who worked on it while in a cab on the way to the dentist.
“I received the track. The track was just so beautiful. This rarely happens, but like, it just instantly, I got, like, inspiration from it, melodically. Immediately, I had to record it,” EJAE shared with Jimmy Fallon.
Before their performance at The Tonight Show stage, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami delivered a short performance of “Golden” on Saturday Night Live with Super Bowl 2026 headliner Bad Bunny.
