Celebrity mom Rica Peralejo was at a loss for words when her second child Manu had a cut on his finger. Read the full story in this article.

Celebrity mom/ vlogger Rica Peralejo gave a detailed account on Instagram today, June 30 of the medical emergency involving her second child Manu.

In a lengthy post, Rica recalled what happened when they had to take her baby with Pastor Joseph Bonifacio to a hospital after her son sliced his fingers.

She shared, “It would have been a normal day, just like any other day, if only my little boy didn't fall from where he was standing.

“To break it, the fall, he grabbed onto the oven and the stainless steel slit through the skin and flesh of his tiny little fingers (third and fourth).”

Rica admitted that it was a shocking moment for her to see Manu in such a horrible situation.

“He was bleeding profusely and it was very disorienting to see that much blood gushing out from my son's hand. It dripped on the floor, stained the sink, soaked the towel.

“When he was gauzed up by the nurse at the reception of the ER, it only took a while before the white mesh blotted crimson.”

There was even a moment that she got confused and couldn't even remember the name of her baby at all.

“When the lady was asking for his name, I could not remember it all. I was more unsure about his birthday. It was so hard to gather my thoughts and keep them all in one place.

“All I could think of was how much I needed them to see my son and treat him and save him.”

She added, “After nine hours, we went home. My baby is glued up and his parents were both grateful and shocked. It took me two days to get back to some sense of normal in my life. All I could do since Friday was hold my baby and cry from time to time.”

Despite what happened, Mommy Rica decided to look on the bright side of the emergency. Her life as a mom of two boys is pretty extraordinary, after all.

She explained, “But just in case you were wondering, some days are normal and some days are extraordinary. Thus is the life of a mom to two boys.

“Let's see if I can also show you something exciting about being a wife of a pastor. HAHAHAHA. just kidding. I think my life has never a dull moment because my husband in himself is an adventure to be with.”

It would have been a normal day, just like any other day, if only my little boy didn't fall from where he was standing. . . To break it, the fall, he grabbed onto the oven and the stainless steel slit through the skin and flesh of his tiny little fingers (third and fourth). He was bleeding profusely and it was very disorienting to see that much blood gushing out from my son's hand. It dripped on the floor, stained the sink, soaked the towel. I was more unsure about his birthday. It was so hard to gather my thoughts and keep them all in one place. All I could think of was how much I needed them to see my son and treat him and save him. . . Apparently, this is normal for some moms. Stitches and burns, ER runs. I was comforted for a while but then I became afraid again. What kind of mom wants this to be the norm? 😂 . . After nine hours, we went home. My baby is glued up and his parents were both grateful and shocked. It took me two days to get back to some sense of normal in my life. All I could do since Friday was hold my baby and cry from time to time. . . There were people who prayed for us, who knew about what happened. Those who saw me say sorry I wouldn't be able to join the homeschooling conversation with @educatingforlife.co because I was in the ER, also sent messages of concern and prayers. Thank you to all of you. . . Manu, as you will see in the video, is back to normal. We are not. 😂 It may take some time...for reasons I have not enough space to tell. . . But just in case you were wondering, some days are normal and some days are extraordinary. Thus is the life of a mom to two boys. Let's see if I can also show you something exciting about being a wife of a pastor. HAHAHAHA. 😁 just kidding. I think my life has never a dull moment because my husband in himself is an adventure to be with. Being a pastor has nothing to do with it. He simply is like...some kind of Magic Mountain. No wonder my boys are...such exciting people, too. 😅

Based on Rica's recent post, they are still staying in California, after being stuck in the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused massive disruptions to air travel around the globe.

They celebrated Manu's first birthday in the U.S. on June 9.

Manu. You turned one in the midst of a pandemic. You had your party here in the US when we should have been home two months ago. You like to eat sayote, blueberries, potatoes. Your words tell me so much of the mover and nature baby that you are: bird, ball, cat, up, dede, ba-bye. That's besides Mama, Papa, Ya (for Kuya), Mamama (for Mandy) and A- (for Alex). Not a surprise you know names and labels, because you live for the joy of connecting with those who are around you. You smile so much, and cry so passionately. You are aggressive and risky and persistent. You do not like to sleep very much, and it takes you a long time to get tired. But oh how you like to cuddle! You welcome the tickles and you do not hesitate to receive all the love. People are drawn to you because you are first drawn to them. . . Few days before you were born your Tita Iya had a word for you: ADVENTURE. And yes it is true, not only are you going to have a lot of adventures but you, Manu, are the adventure yourself! And how blessed is your Mama who is so up for the ride! 🤪 (Para kang white water rafting levels ehhhh.) . . We love you so much, and your family loves you so much. And wow, you know, so many of my friends and people online who have been journeying with us on my accounts have sent you messages, too! And it feels like they are doing this because they genuinely connected with you. Iba ka -- one ka palang, ang dami mo ng friends. 😂😂😂 Ako, I started having them at mga 28 years of age. Hahahahaha!!!! . . You are a fresh and new addition to Mama, My Darling. You enrich my life. You've “saved” it a couple of times, too. What a necessary life you have right there, World Changer. Happy birthday. ⚽️🎾🏀🏐⚾️ #mamawonders
