Juliana Gomez celebrated her 19th birthday on Sunday, September 8, and her parents Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres gave the sweetest message to their unica hija.
Lucy posted a letter on Instagram to her daughter thanking her for being her “dream come true” and keeping her up to date with the latest trends.
She wrote, “Happy birthday, Juliana. This was taken on your 18th birthday, by the donut cake you designed, during that disco party you threw that had everyone up on their feet, dancing till the wee hours of the morning. What a fun, happy night that was, very much the party version of the human that you are.
“Today you turn 19. My bundle of joy, my dream come true, my happy (and funny) pill. The world is your oyster, your dreams are before you, I pray you always journey through life with that warmth and kindness that comes so naturally to you.
“I love you very much--thank you for always making me laugh, and dream, for teaching me new makeup tricks and introducing me to beautiful songs and music I would never discover on my own, eat sinful food.
“If God granted us the chance to have yet another child, Dad and I would ask for 8 more just like you!
Richard also wrote a birthday message for Juliana, whom he refers to as the “bearer of joy” in their family.
He wrote, “My dearest Juliana, when mom and I chose your name Juliana Ma. Beatrice it meant 'bearer of joy.' You have always been nothing short of fun all the time.
“Whenever you're around I can see that you bring smile and joy to people, you crack them up.
“And most of the time I just shake my head in disbelief on how you bring laughter and great happiness to everyone around you. The laughter you blurt is so infectious you can make people roll on the floor.
“You are our biggest treasure, our pride and joy.
“There is nothing more precious than bringing happiness to us and to people whom you affect with optimism. Always be nice to your friends, to people and stay humble. Happy 19th b-day!”
