Animated series 'Rick and Morty' has a Japanese-inspired short film called "Samurai & Shogun."

Adult Swim has released a Japanese-inspired Rick and Morty short film called "Samurai & Shogun" on their official YouTube channel.

The short film takes scientist Rick and his grandson Morty to feudal Japan. Rick is a samurai while Morty is a shogun which he kidnapped from an army of ninjas.

The dialogue is in Japanese, but the video has subtitles. The short was also produced with Studio DEEN, the Japanese studio that produced popular anime like Rurouni Kenshin and Ranma 1/2.

Rick and Morty tells the story of interdimensional adventures of scientist Rick and his grandson Morty.

The fourth season of the popular animated series has been split--with the first five episodes having been aired late last year and the final five set to be released this coming May.
