In case you're wondering why Rita Daniela has stopped creating content for her YouTube channel, well, we have some bad news for you.

On her live video on GMA Network's Instagram account on August 6, the talented artist revealed that her YouTube channel with thousands of subscribers has been hacked.

"Na-hack s'ya, oh my gosh, pero nag-reply na si YouTube na aayusin nila and na-verify na nila na it was really my account and I just don't know kung when s'ya mababalik," Rita shared, with a note of sadness in her voice.

Rita's YouTube channel contains her music covers with her fellow Kapuso stars, reaction videos, and other content and this is why she felt sorry for her channel's deletion.

"I'm just so sad because, siyempre, 'yung mga videos na nandoon, pinaghirapan ko 'yun. I shot it myself and ako rin nag-edit and stuff.

"Pinag-isipan ko 'yun and, siyempre,' yun din 'yung mga ginawa ko this past ECQ."

According to Rita, she might create another channel in case the problem cannot be solved. But she is not losing hope that someday she can retrieve her channel

"But let's see, if not, sayang kasi talaga 'yung subscribers, pero 'pag sobrang tagal na at hindi pa rin naayos, I might just create a new one and I hope you guys can still support me and follow me and subscribe [to my channel]," she added.

Among Rita's recent videos on her now-inactive YouTube channel are her "Tulak Ng Bibig" duet with singer Julianne, and her reaction vlog to fan-made videos.
