Rita Daniela was ready to leave showbiz but “when Aubrey came into my life, everything changed.”

Kapuso actress Rita Daniela revealed that she was ready to migrate abroad to be a performer until she was given the role of Aubrey in My Special Tatay in 2018.

Rita has been with GMA Network since she won the first season of PopStar Kids in 2006 but it was only in 2018 that she was given the biggest break in her acting career.

“When Aubrey came into my life, everything changed,” Rita said.

“Everything changed, even my perspective in life changed.

Boyet was the name of Ken Chan's character who has a mild intellectual disability. He was also the father of Aubrey's child in the series.

After the successful run of My Special Tatay, Rita and Ken were once again paired in the primetime show One of the Baes.

RitKen also served as The Clash Season 2 Journey Hosts alongside Clash Masters Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz.
