Ken Chan on becoming Rita Daniela's onscreen partner, "'Yun ang pinakamaipagmamalaki ko kasi..."
Rita Daniela and Ken Chan have come a long way since they starred as Boyet and Aubrey in My Special Tatay.
The highly-loved onscreen tandem is now ready to star in their first GMA primetime drama, One of the Baes.
They also currently host the reality singing talent competition The Clash.
It's no surprise they've become so close to each other.
During their One of the Baes press conference, Rita shared the sweet gestures Ken does for her.
“Palagi akong nagpapadaan ako sa kanya ng food,” she began.
Ken quickly added, “Donut…kape.”
Rita continued, “Kahit anong madaanan niyang pagkain, kasi masarap talaga kumain.”
Meanwhile, Ken related how much he knows Rita's different moods.
“Kahit walang linya, tumingin lang kami sa isa't isa, alam ko na kung nagugutom na siya, alam ko kung inaantok siya, kung sinusumpong na siya ng acid reflux niya…
“Kabisado ko na siya, so pagdating sa mga eksena, minsan nagiging Ken at Rita na talaga kami.”
He also mentioned about finding a trusted partner, “Masasabi kong 'yun ang pinakamaipagmamalaki ko kasi mahirap hanapin sa isang katrabaho 'yun…'yung trust, nahanap ko 'yun kay Rita.”
