Rita Daniela celebrated her mother's breast cancer recovery by taking her on a long-promised trip to Boracay.
Rita Daniela made a heartfelt promise come true by taking her mother to Boracay for a well-deserved getaway.
The Sparkle diva took to Instagram to share heartfelt moments from her Boracay trip with her mother and adorable son, Uno.
She began, "2019, my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer."
Rita shared that she promised her mother a Boracay getaway to enjoy good food, rest, and spend time to lift her spirits after her battle with cancer.
She explained, "Time really is precious since that moment came to us, but the pandemic happened, I gave birth, I became a first-time mom. I wasn't able to fulfill my promise right away."
This year, the actress received wonderful news. Her mother has finally passed the remission stage, which allowed her to fulfill her promise of a long and relaxing trip.
"Grateful for God by giving me this chance of fulfilling one of my promises to her. What a treat from a child's and daughter's heart. Such a treat when you see your parent/s happy and the happiness comes from within," Rita expressed.
At the end of her post, she promised, "Garden, salon, at bahay na lang, Ma. Aabot din tayo doon. Uno and I loves you!"
Rita gave birth to her son, Uno, in 2022. After becoming a first-time mom, she starred in the GMA prime series Widows' War.
