Performing on the Playlist stage was a blast for singer-actor RJ Agustin. He recently delivered two performances – his single Pusong Bakal and the Kapuso theme song Hanggang Makita Kang Muli.
He saw the online concert platform as a great avenue of expression and sharing the passion for music.
“I believe this is a good venue for singers like us kasi kung mapapansin naman natin, 'yung entertainment [industry], talagang pumupunta siya sa [direksyon ng] social media eh, [it’s all] online. So talagang 'yung mga audience, dun sila tumutok,” he said.
He is happy to be able to perform for an audience beyond the waves of television and radio.
“Bihira lang 'yung ganitong klaseng venue na makapag-showcase ng talent. If you’re not [able] to watch TV, you can just browse [performances online],” he added.
He shared that some of his favorite Playlist performances were Maricris Garcia’s, Ken Chan’s and Gabbi Garcia’s. His favorite OPM artists, meanwhile, are Martin Nievera, Christian Bautista and Aicelle Santos.
