
Robi Domingo remains positive that his wife, Maiqui Pineda-Domingo, is well on her way to recovery.
In Robi's Instagram update yesterday, April 7, he showed a photo of him with his wife, who was undergoing IV treatment. On its caption, the TV host related that the doctors was seeing a great improvement on Maiqui compared to last year.
“Life update: about 8 1/2 hours of IV treatment for Maiqui last week (about 10 hours in the hospital ). he said.
“The doctors told her she has been so much better since last year. Hopefully, we can finally get off other medications and the side effects go away. Proud of you, Maiqs!”
Several celebrities commented on Robi's post and are all praying for his wife's recovery including Matteo Guidicelli, Lovely Abella and celebrity doctor Vicki Belo.

In a now expired Instagram Story, Maiqui thanked her husband for supporting her during the treatment.
She said, "Sorry and thank you so much @iamrobidomingo for being with me!!!! 4 more to go [emoji]."
Last year, Maiqui confirmed that she was diagnosed with dermatomyositis. She said on Instagram then, “I have a rare autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis that causes muscle weakness, inflammation and a skin rash.
“I already started treatment but the journey to recovery is far from over. There are good days but there are still bad days. I am hopeful that this is just temporary and I will work on getting better one day at a time.”
According to hopkinsmedicine.org, dermatomyositis is a rare disease that causes muscle inflammation and skin rash. It's one of a group of muscle diseases that cause muscle inflammation and swelling. It's different from other muscle diseases because it also causes skin problem
Robi and Maiqui exchanged “I Do's” in Janaury 2024 at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Pulilan, Bulacan.
They got engaged in Japan in November 2022.
