The wife of TV host Robi Domingo wanted to allay the fears and confusion from netizens after learning that a certain Facebook account is spreading false information about the state of her health.
Maiqui Pineda confirmed in 2023 that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis.
According to my.clevelandclinic.org, it is a rare disease that causes muscle weakness and rashes on your skin. It's a form of myopathy. It can also cause severe symptoms that affect your ability to breathe and swallow.
Mrs. Domingo took to Instagram Story to ask everyone to report the account.
“I don't use Facebook so I don't see posts like these but thanks to people for sharing [it] to me. Probably why people would ask me if I'm ok.”
“I only share here since I've built a good relationship with a lot of people who follow and message me. You guys know me best.
“If ever you have the time, please help me report this post for false information on [my] health. Thank you!!”
Robi and Maiqui got engaged in Japan in November 2022 and they tied the knot at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Pulilan, Bulacan this January.
