Another milestone for Rocco Nacino. Congratulations, Kapuso!
Rocco Nacino achieves a new feat outside of acting as he becomes an honorary member of the Naval Special Operations Command (NAVSOCOM).
The Missing Husband star shared the happy news on his Instagram, as he posted photos of him in uniform.
“2LT Enrico Raphael Q. Nacino, RN, MAN, Nurse Corp, AFPRESCOM, Navsocom Honorary Member,” Rocco wrote in his caption.
The Kapuso actor noted his journey from being part of the cast of the Philippine remake of Descendants of the Sun to becoming a reservist of the Philippine Navy and now, an honorary member of NAVSOCOM.
“Thankful for the many humbling lessons I have learned throughout the years!” Rocco said.
A few days prior, Rocco also received the “Parangal sa Kapanalig ng Sandatahang Lakas Ng Pilipinas” medal and ribbon.
“This will serve as motivation to me and my comrades to continue our efforts as reservists in serving our country,” he said in his post.
Rocco also thanked his wife, pro-volleyball player Melissa Gohing, who was with him during the ceremony.
“Thank you sa aking commander ng buhay ko, ang aking asawa, @gohingmelissa, sa pagwitness ng napaka espesyal na araw na ito,” he said.
The actor concluded his post with, “Proud to be a Navy Seal. Para sa Pilipinas, Hooyahh!”
