Check out what the viewers said about the award-winning 2019 MMFF film on its first day on Netflix

Award-winning 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival movie, Write About Love, sends both kilig and heartache to viewers as the rom-com comes to Netflix today, September 25.

The movie was headlined by Rocco Nacino, Miles Ocampo, Yeng Constantino, and Joem Bascon.

Write About Love follows the story of an up and coming screenwriter (played by Miles), who teams up with an opposing seasoned writer (played by Rocco). Together, they write a romantic movie, with characters played by Yeng and Joem.

On its first day on the popular streaming site, netizens took to Twitter to express their sentiments after watching the tearjerker movie.

Twitter user kathrinestan said, "Naubos ko 'yung roll ng tissue namin because of Write About Love. Ang ganda ganda ng kwento and I can't stop talking about it."

Write About Love was produced by TBA Studios, the film company known for blockbuster hits Heneral Luna (2015), Birdshot (2016), and Goyo (2018).

The film was co-written and directed by Crisanto B. Aquino in his directorial debut
with music helmed by Jerrold Tarog.

Write About Love bagged the awards Best Supporting Actress (Yeng Constantino), Best Supporting Actor (Joem Bascon), Special Jury Prize, and Best Screenplay (Crisanto Aquino) at the 45th MMFF.

Last March, the movie received the ABC TV Award from the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2020.
