Rocco Nacino shared a short teaser for his upcoming Cinemalaya film 'Tirik.'
Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino proudly shared a short teaser for his upcoming film Tirik.
It is one of the nine full-length entries for this year's edition of the prestigious Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.
The movie tells the story of a priest and a taxi driver who are trying to survive an assassination attempt while on the road.
In an past interview with 24 Oras, Rocco shared how much he enjoyed playing the priest Paring Bert.
"Nakakatuwa na matuto ulit. Malalim 'yung acting. Marami akong natutunan kasi going into this film, may sariling atake ako doon sa character ko pero natuto ako, in a way, na ibang iba 'yung kailangan kong ipakita dito sa pelikula na ito," he said.
Aside from Tirik, Rocco has also been busy taping for his upcoming action-drama series Hari ng Tondo.
The series will be topbilled by Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo at primetime action hero Ruru Madrid.
Hari ng Tondo tells the story of people shaped by the beauty and violence of Tondo.
Aside from Dennis, Ruru, and Rocco, the series also stars Ryza Cenon, Ysabel Ortega, Elle Villanueva, Arra San Agustin, Victor Neri, Nonie Buencamino, and Isko Moreno.
Enzo Williams will be directing the series.
