Following the successful Get, Get Aw! reunion concert of the SexBomb Girls, the girl group's leader, Rochelle Pangilinan, expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported them.
In an Instagram post, Rochelle thanked fans who stood by them throughout the success of the reunion concert, despite the challenges and setbacks encountered during the run.
“Sa Round 3 ,4, 5 kasama namin kayo. Nasaksihan ng LAHAT ang aming roller coaster ride sa concert na to,” Rochelle wrote in her caption.
Rochelle also admitted that the preparation and the actual days of the concert were far from easy.
Aside from technical issues, they also faced physical limitations and the fear of "falling apart" or losing heart, especially since it had been a long time since they last performed together in such a massive production.
“Nagkaroon ng mga problema, hindi n'yo kmi binash bagkus, tinulungan n'yo kaming makabangong muli,” she wrote.
Rochelle continued, “Muling pinalakas ang loob sa kabila ng unti-unti kaming nalalagas at aaminin kong, pinanghinaan ng loob.”
The Kapuso actress and dancer further noted that their fans served as the primary instrument and motivation for the group to persevere, allowing them to reconnect with the people who have long admired them.
“At sa aming pagbangon, KAYO pa din ang kasama namin,” Rochelle said.
Rochelle also emphasized that the fans served as their motivation to rise again. According to her, the applause and cheers from the crowd were ultimate signs of their success, proving that their loyal followers “never truly left them.”
“Ang NAPAKALAKAS na palakpak at sigawan na nagsasabing nagtagumpay kami at HINDI NYO KAMI INIWAN,” she wrote.
She ended her post with a salute to the millions of Filipinos who grew up watching them: “Maraming, maraming, salamat sa lahat ng PINALAKI NG SEXBOMB!!!”
Following their successful concert series, the group left fans buzzing with excitement by teasing a rAWnd 6 concert and a world tour, proving that the Get, Get Aw! fever is far from over.
