The craze continues as fans express excitement over the additional rounds of the SexBomb Girls' “Get, Get Aw” concert.

The concert's success holds a special place in netizens' hearts, as it celebrates the nostalgia and story of the iconic girl group.

What many didn't know, however, is the funny yet inspiring story behind how the reunion concert began.

In an interview with Karen Davila, SexBomb Rochelle Pangilinan shared how she personally pushed for the group's grand comeback after years away from the spotlight.

According to Rochelle, the now-trending concert was inspired by her daughter, Shiloh.

"'Yung anak namin ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit isa ako sa nag-push ng concert. Kasi sobrang fan siya sa isang girl group, BINI," Rochelle recalled.

"So ngayon kinakanta niya. Tapos sabi ko, 'You know what 'nak, ako ang leader dati. I'm the leader before ng isang girl group, which is SexBomb Girls.'"

The proud moment turned bittersweet when Shiloh reacted with doubt and told her, "You will never be BINI, Mom."

Rochelle admitted that she felt frustrated and emotional to the point that she called her husband, Arthur Solinap, to confirm that she really was part of a girl group.

Even with Arthur's reassurance, Shiloh was still confused—prompting Rochelle to become even more determined to bring the group back together.

“'Yung itsura ko talaga sa concert, 'Nak, napanood mo? Grupo ko 'to!'" Rochelle shared.

"Noong concert namin 'yung Round 1, talon siya nang talon buong gabi. Ramdam na ramdam ko na proud na proud siya."

The Kapuso star admitted she was deeply touched by the overwhelming support from her daughter. She also shared that Shiloh now feels shy about openly stanning other groups and often listens to her songs instead.

Still, Rochelle reassured her daughter that it's okay to support other artists and that she remains open to hearing stories about her favorites.

Asked if she would allow her daughter to perform sexy dances in the future, Rochelle expressed her support with conditions.

"Depende kung may pagka-professional 'yung atake, I'm good. Mas gusto ko talaga sana [hindi] siya sa entertainment, e. Mas gusto ko siya sa sports."

Currently, Rochelle and the rest of the SexBomb Girls are preparing for “rAWnd 3,” “rAWnd 4,” and “rAWnd 5” of their “Get, Get Aw” concert, set to take place from February 6 to 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Their concert series began last December 4 at the Araneta Coliseum.
