Rodjun Cruz came to his cousin Geneva Cruz's defense, after the Little Princess kontrabida gained some bashers for her convincing portrayal in the GMA afternoon drama.

According to Rodjun, it's a sign that the singer/actress is doing her job well, same with her fellow Little Princess antagonist, Gabrielle Hahn.

"Patunay lang 'yon na effective sila sa pagganap ng roles nila kaya proud ako kay Ate Gen and kay Gabrielle kasi do'n natin makikita na affected talaga 'yung mga tao so naiinis sila so alam mong nanonood sila simula umpisa hanggang ngayon."

Rodjun said that reactive viewers, in fact, contribute to the high ratings of Little Princess.

He went on, "Utang din namin 'yon sa mga manonood kaya kung magko-comment sila, gusto namin 'yon.

"Ibig sabihin lang madaming nanoood ng Little Princess at sumusuporta."

There were times that Geneva had to answer her haters on social media to educate them. But she is fully aware that it's just one reality of being a mainstream actor that she has to deal with.

The former Smokey Mountain member said, "Ganun talaga e, pinasok ko' to. Alam ko na gagawin nila 'yon. 'Yung ibang tao 'di nila naiintindihan, naiinis sila kay Odessa and Adrianna kasi siyempre artista kami.

"[We are required] to act well and make the audience angry towards us. I hope we're doing okay as villains. That's our job and, wala, enjoy-in na lang ng mga tao."
