Rodjun’s portrayal of Eric’s suitor, Martin in My Husband’s Lover truly left a mark. He considers the role as one of his biggest acting breaks and is proud to have given life to a character who has taught him important lessons in love.

Rodjun shares, “Natutunan ko kay Martin na ‘pag mahal mo talaga ang isang tao, ipaglalaban mo talaga kahit na anong mangyari, gagawin mo talaga ang lahat para makuha siya.”

Does he apply the same philosophy in his own love life?

“Oo naman, siyempre. Kapag hindi ko talaga makuha ‘yung gusto ko, ipaglalaban ko ‘yun hanggang sa huli, pero kung sakaling hindi talaga niya ako gusto at hindi niya ako kayang mahalin, siyempre alam ko rin kung kailan ako titigil,” answers the actor-dancer.

How is his relationship with TV host-actress, Dianne Medina?

“Siyempre, sobrang okay. ‘Pag mahal mo ‘yung tao, mamahalin mo siya hangga’t kaya mo,” he replies.

Rodjun adds, “Hindi ako cheesy. Totoo talaga ‘yun, kasi ‘pag nagmamahal kayo, talagang tatagal kayo. ‘Yun naman ang important dun, kasi ‘pag wala nang love, wala na ring mangyayari.”

How did he pursue Dianne? What is Rodjun’s courting style?

He recalls, “Siyempre, sa umpisa, dalhan mo siya ng flowers at ipapakita mo talaga na gustong gusto mo siya. Hindi ko ginamitan ng pagpapakita ng abs (laughs). Pero ‘yun, talagang nagsipag ako. Pati ‘yung family niya, nililigawan ko. Pumupunta talaga ako sa bahay nila.”

Not all guys are as confident in making the moves. What advice could he give to guys who are too shy to approach the apple of their eye?

“Sa mga guys na natotorpe, minsan lang tayo mabuhay sa mundo, so kung gusto niyo talaga ‘yung tao na ‘yun, go for it! Laban na kayo, kasi baka makuha pa ng iba ‘yun,” states Rodjun.
