Eighteen years later, Rodjun Cruz proves he is still a true dance icon after dominating 'Stars on the Floor.'
Rodjun Cruz continues to shine on the dance floor.
Eighteen years after winning his first championship title on U Can Dance on ABS-CBN in 2007, he once again claimed victory, this time alongside Dasuri Choi, as the ultimate dance star duo on GMA's Stars on the Floor.
During the finale of Stars on the Floor on October 18, Rodjun expressed heartfelt gratitude as they received their trophy and Php1 million cash prize.
“Ang masasabi ko lang siyempre, lahat ng nagawa ko, lahat ng nagawa namin ni Das, dahil 'to kay Lord. Lord, sayo po lahat ng honor and glory. 'Yung family ko, mahal na mahal ko kayo, lumakas ako dahil sa inyo, babies ko, Dianne, Isabela, Rayver, mga kapatid ko, mama, and papa in heaven para sa inyo,” Rodjun said.
“Hindi ko alam 'yung emosyon ko, pero wow, ang lupet, panalo kami!” he added, beaming with joy.
On Instagram Stories, his wife, Dianne Medina, shared her excitement over his championship win and reminisced about his first victory 18 years ago.
“Natutuwa talaga ako sa husband ko. Hahaha! Magkalaban kami sa U Can Dance ABS-CBN 2007, siya ang nag-champion 18 years ago. Grabe, super blessed ni Lord - at 38, still doing it grabe! Love you, proud of you always! Super galing, congrats after 18 years, champion pa rin this time sa Stars on the Floor,” she wrote.
Rodjun first rose to fame in 2007 when he won the second season of U Can Dance with his dancing partner, Lina Basas. This marks as a new milestone as one of the country's best dancers.
