Roi Vinzon signed an exclusive three-year contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, June 3, at the GMA Network Center Building.

Present at the event were Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable SVP for Entertainment and AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara.

Roi started as an action star and became famous with his villain roles. In 2013, Roi starred as the Retired General Armando Soriano in the Primetime series My Husband’s Lover and early this year, he gave life to Mayor Fernando Torres in Carmela.

According to Roi, “Ang masasabi ko lang, as usual Channel 7. Sila ang nagbigay sa akin ng break sa series. Nagkataong sinwerte na maging part ako ng My Husband's Lover, kaya thank you so much”.

“That's the beginning of everything. After that, nabigyan ako ng Katipunan, and then Carmela,” he added.

Roi explained that he is ready to what GMA Network has in store for him. He said, “Nandito ako, nangangako naman na gagampanan ko ang kung ano mang gusto nilang mangyari sa akin”.

Roi will soon be seen in Overtime opposite Richard Gutierrez and Lauren Young in theaters nationwide.
