Romnick Sarmenta sa tambalan nila noon ni Sheryl Cruz: “You build trust and you fall for each other.”
Ibinahagi ng Unbreak My Heart actor na si Romnick Sarmenta sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda ang naging takbo ng love team at ng relasyon nila noon ng aktres na si Sheryl Cruz.
Matatandaan na isa ang tambalan nina Romnick at Sheryl sa may pinakamaraming taga-suporta noong late '80s hanggang '90s.
Sa panayam ni Romnick kasama ang TV host na si Boy Abunda, tinanong ng huli ang aktor kung na-pressure ba sila noon ni Sheryl na ma-in love sa isa't isa para sa kanilang loveteam.
Sagot naman ni Romnick, “I don't think there's real pressure but I believe there is a fondness that grows because you were together every day, you're all that you see every day and whether we like it or not especially that age we were teenagers parang you tend to open up to each other every day, you build trust and you fall for each other.”
Pero ayon kay Romnick, gaya sa iba niyang naging karelasyon, naisip na rin niya noon na si Sheryl na ang kaniyang makakasama sa kaniyang buhay.
Aniya, “I'm a hopeless romantic. I think at any point in time kung sino man 'yung karelasyon ko gusto ko doon na matapos.”
Hindi rin naging madali ang naging hiwalayan nila noon ni Sheryl dulot ng pressure sa maraming bagay at personal na problema.
“We were very young…it kinda was difficult, it's all pressure from work, family, lahat ng taong nakapaligid sa'yo, circumstance, and you know when you're young you're very jealous, you're insecure about yourself, you're insecure about your position in anyone's life,” ani Romnick.
Bukod dito, tinanong din ni Boy si Romnick kung naniniwala ba ang huli na malaking bagay ang pagiging parte ng love team upang sumikat.
Tugon naman ni Romnick, “Statistically speaking kasi ang nagagawa rin ng loveteams it pulls both followers e, so nado-double agad 'yung following mo in a sense, if you were effective together they start relating to you so much na feel nila either sila 'yung isang tao doon sa relationship or parang miyembro ka ng pamilya nila that they don't want to see part ways.”
Dagdag pa ng aktor, “Ang danger lang doon is that when you finally do, someone suffers.”
Samantala, tinanghal naman na Best Actor si Romnick Sarmenta sa kaniyang pagganap sa pelikulang About Us But Not About Us na bahagi ng kauna-unahang Summer Metro Manila Film Festival.
Kasalukuyang mapapanood ngayon si Romnick sa groundbreaking series na Unbreak My Heart sa GMA.
