Ronnie Liang on his Project Ngiti Foundation: "Hindi ko naman akalain na maraming buhay na mababago..."

In 2022, singer Ronnie Liang established the Project Ngiti Foundation, Inc. with the noble objective of assisting children who suffer from lip and cleft palate conditions. Since its inception, the foundation has garnered substantial support from various corporate entities.

Recently, Ronnie made a heartwarming announcement, revealing that an additional 1,000 children will be included in the list of beneficiaries of Project Ngiti. This announcement was made at the Lucky China Town Mall.

The founder passionately expressed, "Our foundation is dedicated to providing these children with complimentary surgeries, inclusive of transportation and essential post-operative medication. We have established partnerships with hospitals where consultations precede the surgical procedures. I would like to extend my gratitude to Lucky China Town Mall for their recent support."

As a gesture of early holiday generosity, Liang shared, "With nearly 1,000 children eagerly anticipating life-changing surgeries, this collaboration marks a significant milestone. Through our collective efforts, we are now able to extend our assistance to an additional 20 children, ensuring they receive these transformative surgeries free of charge, just in time for the festive Christmas season."

Referring to his iconic song “Ngiti,” Liang said, “Hindi ko naman akalain na maraming buhay na mababago dahil sa song na ito. It was just a song. At ngayon, isa na itong foundation -- na nagbibigay ng ngiti sa mga batang mayroong lip and cleft palate.”

He continued by emphasizing, "It's crucial to underscore that this initiative transcends a mere one-time event; rather, it signifies our enduring commitment to effecting lasting change in the lives of these young children grappling with lip and cleft palate conditions."

The singer-actor further stated, "Our collaborative endeavors extend beyond the realm of medical interventions; they also cultivate an atmosphere of optimism and compassion. With each smile we bring to the faces of these children, we convey our shared belief that, together, we can conquer challenges and shape a brighter future."

Concluding with a heartfelt Christmas message, he expressed, "As the holiday season draws near, we extend our warmest wishes to all those involved. May the Christmas spirit fill our hearts with joy, and may our partnership continue to have a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of these children. Merry Christmas!"

Liang's heartwarming mission is truly something to smile about.
