BLACKPINK's Rosé has apologized to their fandom after reflecting on the group's 10th anniversary.

BLACKPINK's Rosé has apologized to BLINK after reflecting on the group's 10th anniversary celebration on August 8.

In a message shared through her Instagram Broadcast Channel, Rosé said she had been thinking about the milestone and the fans' reactions before finally putting her feelings into words.

According to a translation of her original Korean message published by The Chosun Daily, Rosé wrote, “I had a lot on my mind over the past few days, so I couldn't write this post quickly.”

She explained that she felt a sense of regret as she welcomed BLACKPINK's 10th anniversary, a milestone she said she had been looking forward to as much as the fans.

“It's not that I don't understand the fans' feelings; rather, I empathized so much that it took me some time to organize my thoughts on where to start,” Rosé said.

She added that the delay may have made BLINK feel even more alone, saying, “During that time, I think I made you all feel more lonely, and my heart is heavy.”

Rosé then reflected on the significance of BLACKPINK's decade-long journey with their fans.

“For me, these 10 years of growing together with BLINK, cherishing each other, and walking this path together hold great significance. My biggest wish was to celebrate together,” she said.

She continued, “So, I wanted that one day on August 8th to be a time when we could all smile and be happy, but I'm filled with apologies because things didn't go as planned.”

BLACKPINK marked their 10th debut anniversary on August 8 with a meet-and-greet attended by 40 randomly selected fans at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul.

Despite earlier speculation that some members might not attend, all four BLACKPINK members appeared together at the event and met with fans.

Rosé also thanked the BLINKs who came to see the group despite the hot weather.

“I sincerely thank all the BLINK who came to see us despite the hot weather. It was really nice to meet you after a long time, and I also want to apologize,” she said.

Looking back on the past decade, Rosé said she felt overwhelmingly grateful for the love shared between BLACKPINK and their fans.

“Over these 10 years, receiving so much love and being able to share love with each other has been overwhelmingly happy and grateful,” she said.

Rosé revealed that it was only after she returned home that the emotions of the anniversary fully caught up with her.

“Only when I got home alone did all the emotions rush back. It took me time to compose myself, so I apologize for the delay in writing this,” she said.

She ended her message by emphasizing that the anniversary was meant to celebrate both BLACKPINK's 10 years together and the fans who supported them throughout the journey.

“This was supposed to be a commemorative day for our BLACKPINK, who have worked hard for 10 years, and for BLINK, who have given us so much love,” Rosé said.

“Although we were all left with some regrets, I sincerely celebrate once again and hope we create many more good memories together in the future.”
