In his recent Instagram post, Rudy called out netizen @daz_chadwick on the comment section for sharing 'false' information about his parents Corinne Gobert and Rudy Bourgarel.

The netizen said, "So commenting further it is likely Rudy got it from his parents who came from Italy prior to seeing him. Mutation of the virus in the USA could mean he could catch it again."

To this Rudy Gobert replied:

"Haven't seen my dad for a year, haven't seen my mom since allstar game, gotta stop believing everything you read my guy."
